Overview:  Goshenite derives its name from the town of Goshen in Massachusetts, where it was first found. Goshenite is a variety name applied to a colorless beryl. It contains only the base elements found in all Beryl crystals, Beryllium, Aluminum and Silicon. Goshenite is sometimes coated with a green foil to resemble an emerald.
